Arrive in Ethiopia’s bustling capital, where you’ll be introduced to the country's rich history and
vibrant culture. Depending on arrival time, you may explore Merkato, Africa's largest open-air
market, or the National Museum, home to the famous "Lucy" fossil.
Discover the UNESCO World Heritage rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, a marvel of medieval
architecture. The northern and eastern clusters house breathtaking monolithic churches like
Bete Medhane Alem and Bete Maryam, carved directly into the stone.
A morning hike takes you to the Asheton Mariyam Monastery perched on a mountain, offering
panoramic views of Lalibela. Later, explore the cave church of Nakuto' Le’Abb, known for its
intricate rock carvings and religious significance.
Explore Gondar’s Royal Enclosure, a historical fortress complex housing castles and palaces
from the reign of Emperor Fasilides. Visit the Debre Birhan Selassie Church, renowned for its
iconic ceiling of angelic faces and vibrant frescoes.
Journey to the Simien Mountains, a UNESCO-listed natural wonder with dramatic landscapes
