1. National Museum of Ethiopia

2. Holy Trinity Cathedral
Next, visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral, a magnificent church that is a key religious site for
Ethiopian Orthodox Christians. It is known for its stunning stained glass windows, architectural
grandeur, and the tomb of Emperor Haile Selassie.
3. Ethnological Museum (former Haile Selassie Palace)
Continue to the Ethnological Museum, located in Haile Selassie’s former palace, which provides
a fascinating look into Ethiopia’s diverse cultures and traditions. The museum’s exhibits cover
various aspects of Ethiopian life, from birth to death, and include religious artifacts and art.

5. St. George’s Cathedral and Museum
Return to the city and visit St. George's Cathedral, a distinctive octagonal church that was built
to commemorate Emperor Menelik II’s victory in the Battle of Adwa. Inside, you can explore
religious icons, artwork, and the museum displaying royal relics.
6. Merkato Market
Conclude the tour with a visit to Merkato, Africa’s largest open-air market. Stroll through the
labyrinth of stalls selling everything from spices and crafts to textiles, giving you a true taste of
